Embed pushed assets in WordPress (Elementor)

Pushing an asset installs it on your site and makes it available inside the Elementor editor — it does not place anything on a page by itself. This guide shows exactly where each asset type appears and how to place it.

Before you start

• Your site is connected to Hubbee and the Hubbee plugin is active.
• Elementor is installed and active — asset embedding currently requires Elementor. Full WordPress-native embedding (without Elementor) is in the works.
• The asset has been pushed to this site from the Asset Library. After a push, allow 1–2 minutes for propagation and reload the Elementor editor if it was already open.

Backgrounds

Backgrounds attach to Elementor containers as a style option:

1. Open the page in Elementor and select the container you want the background on.
2. Go to the Style tab.
3. Open the Hubbee Background section.
4. Pick your pushed background from the dropdown and adjust the opacity if you like.

The background renders behind the container’s content and lazy-loads when it scrolls into view.

Text effects

Text effects are a style option on Heading and Text Editor widgets — these two widget types only:

1. Select a Heading or Text Editor widget.
2. Go to the Style tab.
3. Open the Hubbee Text Effect section.
4. Pick your pushed text effect from the dropdown.

If you don’t see the section, you’re on a widget type that doesn’t support text effects — use a Heading or Text Editor widget instead.

Elements

Elements come as their own widget:

1. In the Elementor widget panel, search for Hubbee Component (it lives in the General category).
2. Drag it onto the page.
3. In the Content tab, open the Select Component dropdown and pick your pushed element.

You can place the same element multiple times with different settings — the chunk is installed once and rendered per instance.

Troubleshooting

• The asset doesn’t appear in the dropdown: check that the push completed (Asset Library shows the push status), wait 1–2 minutes for propagation, then reload the Elementor editor.
• The animation only starts when I scroll to it: that’s by design — assets lazy-load when they enter the viewport, keeping your pages fast.
• No Hubbee sections in Elementor at all: make sure the Hubbee plugin is active and the site shows as connected in your dashboard.
