Lifetime Deal FAQ
Lifetime Deal FAQ
What’s included in the Lifetime Deal?
Three tiers:
Lite Lifetime — $49 one-time
- 5 WordPress sites
- 1 workspace, 1 member
- Visitor analytics (25,000 pageviews/month, 30-day history)
- Bulk plugin and theme updates
- Health monitoring (60-min checks, 5-min heartbeat)
- 1 external content source (Google Sheets or Airtable)
- Starter asset library (3 backgrounds, 2 elements, 2 text effects)
- All future features within the Lite tier
Starter Lifetime — $149 one-time
- 10 WordPress sites
- 1 workspace
- 3 team members
- Full asset library (10 backgrounds, 7 elements, 7 text effects)
- Bulk plugin and theme updates
- Health monitoring (5-min heartbeat)
- All future features within the Starter tier
Business Lifetime — $349 one-time
- 50 WordPress sites
- 3 workspaces
- 10 team members
- 25 client logins per workspace
- Larger asset library (50 / 30 / 30)
- Bulk plugin and theme updates
- Health monitoring (3-min heartbeat)
- All future features within the Business tier
All three tiers include the WordPress plugin (GPL v2, free regardless), EU-hosted infrastructure, GDPR-compliant data handling, and no recurring fees.
Is this really lifetime?
Yes. You pay once. Your workspace stays on the Lifetime tier for as long as Hubbee operates.
No annual renewals. No “lifetime of the founder” caveats. No upgrade-locked features that we’ll quietly carve out later. The 1.0 tier definitions are the contract.
Can I upgrade my tier later?
Yes — the ladder is Lite → Starter → Business. Buy the higher-tier code while the deal is live and redeem it on the same workspace (on AppSumo you can also upgrade your license tier directly). The tier moves up, your existing limits move up with it. Your original code is consumed (status: redeemed) but the upgrade is permanent. See Code stacking for the precise rules.
After the deal window closes, the upgrade path is via recurring Pro → Agency subscriptions on the standard pricing page.
Do I get future features?
All future features within your tier. If we add Brand Systems to Starter down the road, you get it. If Agency Value Reports with white-label output land in Business (it’s on the roadmap), you get them.
We won’t ship a “Starter Plus” or “Lifetime Pro+” tier that strands you. Two paths only: this lifetime tier, or a future recurring tier that lives in parallel.
What if Hubbee shuts down?
Highly unlikely — we’re a small, profitable team and the lifetime revenue gives us a long runway. But if it ever happened:
- 90 days’ notice via email and dashboard banner
- WordPress plugin stays open-source (GPL v2) — your sites keep working with the data they already store locally
- Data export — we ship a full JSON/CSV export of your dashboard data with at least 60 days to grab it
- Refund commitment — pro-rated refund of remaining months for any active monthly subscriptions; lifetime users get a final asset-export bundle
The WordPress plugin is designed to operate without our cloud — it caches token values, asset chunks, and configuration locally. Day-to-day site rendering doesn’t depend on us being online.
Refund policy
AppSumo’s standard 60-day money-back guarantee applies. Cancel within 60 days of purchase for a full refund via AppSumo. See Refund policy for what happens on our side when you refund.
Can I transfer my code to someone else?
Before redemption: yes. Forward the AppSumo email to the recipient and they redeem with their own Hubbee account.
After redemption: no — the lifetime plan is bound to the workspace and its owner. We can re-assign in support cases (acquisition, change of ownership), email info@hubbee.io with the workspace ID and acquirer’s account email.
Can I use Hubbee for client sites?
Absolutely — Business Lifetime is built exactly for this:
- 50 sites cover most small-to-mid agencies
- 25 client logins per workspace let you give each client a read-only view of their site
- Audit trails per workspace
- On the roadmap: outcome-focused, white-label client reports (Agency Value Reports)
If you outgrow 50 sites, the regular Agency monthly plan (100 sites, $90/mo) is the next step.
What if I need more than 50 sites?
Two options:
- Stack codes for higher tiers as we add them — we may release Enterprise Lifetime tiers in future AppSumo windows
- Move to the recurring Agency plan ($90/mo, 100 sites)
Lifetime users get a credit for the time-remaining on their lifetime entitlement if they migrate to Agency monthly. Email support to coordinate.
Code stacking limits
You can stack codes to move up tiers (Lite → Starter → Business), but you can’t stack to inflate site limits on a single tier. Three Starter codes give you Starter, not 30 sites. See Code stacking for the explicit ruleset.
Will you raise prices?
Lifetime prices are fixed: $49 Lite, $149 Starter, $349 Business during the launch window. If we run a follow-up AppSumo deal in 2027, prices may differ — but your already-purchased plan stays at the price you paid.
Recurring monthly/yearly prices may change with notice. Lifetime is the only payment level explicitly protected from future price changes.
What about VAT / sales tax?
AppSumo handles tax collection at checkout — they’re the merchant of record. You receive an AppSumo invoice with the appropriate tax breakdown for your jurisdiction. Hubbee never sees your tax ID or billing address.
Where does my data live?
EU. Backend self-hosted on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany, on a self-hosted Supabase Postgres stack. Site asset chunks (backgrounds, elements, text effects) live on the same self-hosted Supabase Storage. GDPR-compliant by architecture — no US data transfers in the hot path.
See hubbee.io/legal/datenschutz for the full processor list.
What if AppSumo refunds my purchase?
AppSumo sends us a refund webhook. We revoke the code (status: revoked) and downgrade your workspace to Free plan. You keep your account, your data, your connected sites — only paid features stop working. Existing rows over the Free plan limit are not deleted; you can no longer add new ones until you upgrade or reduce.
You can also voluntarily request that we keep more of your data than the Free plan allows — email support, we can grant a one-time grace period.
